Hippo Birdy, LAT!

Thanks all! :D

It's been an odd day, certainly memorable.

Yesterday I fell badly while negotiating the step up into our kitchen and trapped my left elbow under my ribcage. This morning I had a really painful chest and hadn't slept well at all so OH persuaded me I should go to A&E to get checked out.
About half-hour wait to get triaged
About 5 hours wait to get seen by a doctor
Another hour and a half wait for a CT scan (that was weird, I've never had one before)
Another 2 hours wait for the results to be reviewed

Anyway all was good - (he was worried I might have damaged my spleen, hence the scan) and eventually allowed home

In any case there were some great people in the waiting room and we ended up cheering each time someone who had been waiting ages got called to be seen. And the staff were all very pleasant, just very busy!

But not how I had planned to spend the day!

Well if you will go leaping about on one leg and end up slipping on the soap...

Whose silly idea was that?

Really though, poor you. Not how you should have to spend your day at all. Hoping you feel better soon. X

Oh no, LAT, I knew you had fallen, but didn't expect you to end up spending your birthday in hospital! Poor you. :( Hope you feel better soon. xx

Thanks!

Getting better slowly, lying down is the worst so finding a comfortable position to sleep is challenging but otherwise not too bad! (Unless I cough, sneeze or hiccup  )

I had the family here last Sunday and my son gave me this puzzle as a belated birthday present.
I will have a new puzzle to solve every day until the end of 2025 at least (it came with year numbers 2022 up to 2025)

And, of course, I am now trying to solve the puzzle each day. So far I have succeeded but sometimes it does take me a while.

This got me thinking about all the various daily puzzles I do. As well as this I do Wordle and Worldle.

Flow is one that I do on my phone. It has a new set of puzzles each day as well as a weekly set with a theme.

Then there are Microsoft Solitaire, Mahjong and Jigsaw which have 5, 5 and 3 new puzzles each day. At least those can be solved on subsequent days within the month if you don't manage them on the actual day but they disappear at the end of each month. And these (and Flow) have lots of puzzles available all the time but I rarely seem to find time for any of them!

What puzzles do fellow Puzzlebrainers try to do every day?

Wordle, Heardle, Worldle, Globle for quick daily teasers.
