Re: Passing the time
Great fun Google Doodle today.

Re: Passing the time
I spent far too long on the last one; I couldn't see it at all.
I've been enjoying Pixoji which starts out like a lot of "Japanese number logic" puzzles we all know but rapidly turns into something quite brain-melting.

Re: Passing the time
I do see what you mean. I have wasted far too long on it already!
Re: Passing the time
Grrr - I'm stuck on level 46. My brain just won't process all the info beyond a few certainties.

Re: Passing the time
Hmmm. I got to level 47 and just can't work it out. About 20 attempts so far...

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Re: Passing the time
Why are you even doing them, Bunny? (Or maybe you have been tempted to the dark side?
) I mean, you've told us that you don't like them often enough.

Re: Passing the time
Well, funnily enough, I don't mind this sort of thing. I quite like those picture ones...it's specifically sudokus that I absolutely can't bear. Anyway, I hate you. Fancy showing me another way to waste time!

Re: Passing the time
I did make it through all 80 of the levels in the core game, and have just started on the "bonus" puzzles. (Although there aren't really 80 levels, because there are quite a lot of tutorials for each of the new 'features'.)

Re: Passing the time
My problem when coming back to it after a day off is remembering which symbol means what - eg I nearly muddled the one for 4 distinct blocks with the one signifying a max block of 4. Definitely a good brain workout!

Re: Passing the time
It's no good, can't get past level 47 no matter how hard I try. Probably a good thing, ultimately!

Something very simple which won't take long at all.

And as LAT has just pointed out to me, there is also this exhibition, which might just make you all run, screaming....

And, while I'm on...if you like optical illusions, these are quite cool. http://victoriaskye.com/illusionart.html

How's this for history in the making? The production of a the MGM credit sequence!

Here's a clever one:

It's about seeing if an AI can make the same associations as you with words combined with a neat block-elimination type game. There are times when you go "no, I obviously meant X, not Y" but that's part of the fun.

Re: Passing the time
A couple of games I’m hooked on at the moment that fills the time waiting for Diggy to regenerate are Flutter: Butterfly Sanctuary and Starlight (which is the moth/night version). You have to build up your collection of butterflies/moths, level up, go on errands. I’ve only been playing them for a few days, but rather enjoying learning about each type of butterfly (maybe I might even be able to identify some in my garden if we get a summer).
Sorry I can’t seem to do the links, but I found them easily enough with a quick search. I’m on the iPad app, but it looks like you can play through fb and connect to friends.

It does sound good, but I don't have an ipad or an iphone, so I don't think I can join you.

Well if it's anything like Diggy I won't be mentally capable of doing it! I never did understand that!
