Happy Birthday. Hope it's been a good one.
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

Re: Happy Birthday
Just swinging by to thank everyone for their greetings. I've stopped thinking much about birthdays long before now - but it's been an OK day
Prezzies (mostly edible and chocolate flavoured) were waiting when I got home tonight.
One of the earliest non-linear 'next number' sequences has stuck with me for years:
1, 3, 7, 15, 31, 63,

Re: Happy Birthday
Sorry - late again - but hope you had a really good day and enjoyed all the edibles and chocolate.
Re: Happy Birthday
Happy belated birthday!
(I love that expression! I went shopping for birthday cards in October and found a whole stand of really nice belated birthday cards, but not very many nice on time cards. I almost considered buying one of the belated cards and giving it to my friend a day late!)

Re: Happy Birthday
Perhaps you should invent an "Early birthday card". You could corner the market.

Re: Happy Birthday
You know what ? That is a brilliant idea! I often remember someone's birthday at the beginning of the month, and then forget to send a card on time. I might make some.

Re: Happy Birthday
Yes I do that. I still haven't bought the two I need for this week, and one of them is tomorrow, so it will definitely be late.

For a variety of reasons --- no I've not been rumbled and spent time in Strangeways - I've not been on the forum for months!

Re: Happy Birthday
(sorry, I only did that because fernando has ben pointing out to me how witty he is because he got one laughing face, then two. I thought giving him 3 would cheer him up: he's so disappointed he didn't have to go to school)

Is that Brian I see wandering off and muttering something about "Kids today", and "Respect for their elders"?
