I'll come. I could be very good at drinking champagne and eating crudities. If there is enough champagne I would probably also enjoy the art. :D

well to be honest ive avoided it mostly cause id rather not buy a game i cant play off line....
the idea of having to pay them a monthly amount just so i can keep playing sort of feels like its wrong.....
im an enthusiast of this type of game though i LOVE the elder scroll series ;-)
i was surprised just how good the graphics were and wouldnt moan about buying the extra content.....

but with wow you need to pay for the extras and pay to keep playing....... but then it is the individually biggest one of its type...... so i thought id look to see how much i like it so far its below par.... but i havent done the meet up with friends and beat the crap out of something or PvPed which seems to be the point........ im just quickly leveling up so i can be useful im going raiding in a day or two....

dealing with wrinkly old skin, white hair and liver spots

I decided I can't do anything about the wrinkles, or the liver spots, but I can fix the hair! I went and had it bleached  It's almost the same color as it was when I was a teenager

Mini-midlife crisis prevented....It was either that, or buy a red sports car and get a 20 year old boyfriend

When Katherine saw me, she asked if I was drunk....Don't you just love kids?

...eating cake!

It was my friends birthday and somebdy brought in a cake (and some candles and matches, which we had to hurriedly hide when the dinner lady came along!). It took us a whole box of matches to light the candles, and even then we only got about six or seven lit. We were sitting outside though, and the wind was pretty strong at lunch time. We were shielding the matches with umbrellas!

Putting up shelving and stuff in Sarahs NEW GREEN HOUSE. Oh boy, is she ever happy. I prommised her one when we moved house last year. Finally got around to it and had it delivered late last week. Ah, marital bliss assured, for a month or so at least. :D :P

Cheers. BB.

Is that because when she's pottering in her green house you'll get control of the remote?

...I've bin scribing for one of my lovely pupil's RE GCSE exams. He's very clever (but just can't write it down), and he's allowed 25% extra time. So it was 2 and a half hours long. He had me writing at full speed for the entire 2 and a half hours. 7 pages of small A4 writing!! Phew. My wrist is still aching! Fingers crossed for the A he deserves, and if he doesn't get it I think I may shoot him! In the morning it was a GCSE practical business studies exam - which all went well until the whole of the school computer network crashed. The kids all had to be supervised for an hour in the middle of the exam while the IT men had a nervous breakdown!!

I thought you got an A in GCSE for just turning up to the exam. It's the A* that requires all the writing

Oh that's rotten!** Mind you, I know nothing whatsoever about religion and I reckon I could have answered the questions. It's all ethics and philosophy these days, not endless chuntering about scriptures, like it was when I was at school. Also, they get to pick answers about Christianity, Judaism, Islam or Buddhism, and get marks for having their own opinion about things like suicide and IVF.

EDIT **That was aimed at Scurra, not BB, and I wasn't being serious. I'm inclined to agree!

......mostly been at F's school concert. Quite entertaining (not too much cat strangling ie junior strings) and a very lively version of La Bamba at the end where intermediate concert band joined senior concert band and then halfway through the piece they all got up and conga-ed out waving maracas and reappeared on the balcony! They did eventually dance back in and finish the piece.

Brilliant!!

I remember a great concert when my kids were in the school band - they had the Band of the Welsh Guards in, who played a piece using a piece of garden hose swung round their heads with a trumpet mouthpiece attached!! Genius!

Thinking I should have stayed working at the British Council...It would have made this issue a lot easier

and..hand feeding our guinnea pig who decided to jump off the sofa. He landed on his face and broke out his two front teeth. Poor little guy has a split lip and can't chew his food. Everything has to be made very tiny and he needs lots of hand feeding again. I bet he won't do that again. He's even afraid to go up the ladder to his bed in the cage. Luckily the vet (who's bill was more expensive than the guinnea pig) said they should grow back with in one to two weeks.

We're playing a piece at orchestra which is a theme and variations, but the variations are supposed to represent countries. When we get somewhere Latin-American, it says on the music ' Men Shout "Hoo-Ya" '! The conductor said that the boys were so rubbish at it that us girls could join in but we'd have to shout in a low manly voice!

we had a similer problem when i was doing my bit on the stage...
well in the choir there was only 6 men out of about 30 or 40 people
which is the reason i ended up on stage i was quiet happy playing with the electroic equipment and helping do all the other little bits that needed doing....
