Don't worry about offending me if you all want to meet up in London! I probably wouldn't go but don't let that stop you! I just find that the travelling winds me up so much that it spoils my enjoyment of the day. Even driving the other day took an hour just to get from the end of the M1 to Bethnal Green.

Just had another call out with my neighbour stuck on the stair lift. How ridiculously unreliable, especially considering how much they charge for them!

Was that meant to be a public comment to get everyone else intrigued? Or did you mean it to be a PM?

It was meant to be a public comment because I knew Hazel was reading her PM's and it avoided a cross post. I was cadging a bed if the next meet is London.

It must be this strange "sunshine" that we seem to have been having recently... :D
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Travelling to the Isle of Harris. Flight to Glasgow was delayed so it was a bit nerve-wracking wondering if I would get there in time to make the connecting flight to Stornoway, but in the end there were no problems. Fortunately I've got more time than the last trip to the Hebrides - I fly back on Friday morning so I will have a chance to explore a little tomorrow night. I've already had a mini mini mini tour around Tarbert. The island is beautiful, with some stunning beaches.

We do now have 3 abodes! Signed sealed delivered and its ours. Anyone want to buy a static caravan? No reasonable offer refused but pay own transport to wherever

We just bought a chalet come bungalow. Chalet doesn't do it justice. In Withernsea.

Huge lounge, double glazed throughout. Storage heaters. Newly fitted decent sized kitchen. 2 bedrooms, utility room separate bathroom and toilet. Great decor. Seaside and country combined. Front Garden to die for, south , sun all day.

Guesses as to how much it cost us?

Ok, I'll guess £100,000, seeing as you're obviously quite chuffed at how much it did cost!
