Re: Today I've mostly bin...
No I mean my face seems to be heading southwards. Along with the rest of me...let's put it this way, forget the pencil test, I think whole pencil case test might be more apt... )
I noticed the JOWLS starting to appear a couple of weeks ago. A defining and thoroughly depressing moment.

I remember a girl at school once saying that instead of a toothbrush (rather than the pencil test) she had used a toothpaste tube. She didn't seem to understand why the rest of us rolled about laughing!
There's a good cure for this - stop looking in a mirror. I have to say it is one of the most depressing things about staying in a hotel, the bathrooms always seem to have full length mirrors so there is no getting away from the inglorious sight! And in HK the centre of the mirror was heated so it didn't even mist up when I had a shower.

That's just an outrage. I'd pay more to stay somewhere without mirrors.

I have always had about three chins, so I will probably acquire a few more as I age.

Collecting my latest effort after glazing and firing. And yes, before anyone points it out I KNOW the picture isn't quite central!

Hey, I've stopped blinking at anything people say in here now.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Yes they are little mouse fairies for Christmas trees of course! I'll post a picture if I ever get them finished .
Re: Today I've mostly bin...
I'd be interested to see them, they sound rather fun.
Today I have been in London looking for statues of a certain bear.
and probably my favourite

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
I quite like the statues, but I REALLY don't like the animated version on the film. I think it's totally creepy.
OK so I have spent this evening mostly making six merry men hats, a really fancy glittery Robin Hood hat with a big glittery spray instead of a feather (the character is supposed to be really camp and extravagant) a "mini me" hat for the dummy Robin Hood (don't ask) finishing a golden cudgel, and making and decorating a Robin Hood waistcoat. I have also been out to purchase two feather dusters for "tickling sticks."
Oh, the joys.

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Sounds like you have been busy!
I've not seen the Paddington film so can't comment on the creepiness, but I used to like the books. The Paddington book bench we saw in the summer was one of my favourites. The benches were more inspiring than the statues (I think) but yesterday was still fun.
Now if I'd known you were there Chazzie.......

Just smiling at a photo of my son. Can't remember if I shared this before, so I'll put it here again because I think it might make you smile too.
