......welcoming a special grandson for a week's holiday with us :D ! He is a delight to have around and seems to be very happy at the idea of having Grandma and Grandad at his beck and call  - not to mention Uncle David as well for a couple of days before he has to go back home......

...visiting a brand-new natural history "attraction" (I mean, it had literally only been open for a week!) in an otherwise fairly dull Devon coastal town.* We stumbled across it pretty much by accident, but I think that all three generations that were there thought it was great and got something worthwhile out of it, from the giant animatronic seagull via the time-travelling submarine to the wildlife garden - and some rather good educational observations and jokes about evolution and climate change into the bargain. If by some remote chance you happen to be near Seaton Jurassic, and have the excuse of taking small children, it's well worth a visit.

*sorry, Seaton, but we didn't even think it was worth visiting the seafront. :)

The trip there and back on the tram was rather good fun too (if I'd been more of a twitcher I might have actually recognised some of the many birds to be seen on the estuary...)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

I currently have "available small child" envy - there are loads of places which are actually fun for adults but you'd feel stupid going there without a small person in tow. Glad you all had a good time. :)

...Continuing to clear the loft.

I don't suppose anyone wants two hand made wool rugs circa 1975-1980 (oh yes, they are orange and brown!) Seems such a shame to take them to the tip after all that effort...

The good news is that we managed to find a home for the 100 Sandersons carpet tiles...

Me? A hoarder? Never!!

Meanwhile back at the ranch...the loft clearance continues. I found my jester outfit! Yay!

How did we all guess you'd got one of those? Me, on the other hand... no, I haven't. Honest. :)

(SparkOut - get well really soon.)

I think we need to see Bunny in the jester outfit and the jester in a bunny outfit.

I'm actually trying not to imagine it!

Sparkout - we're all rooting for you to get well soon. Sorry you're having such a bad time.
Don't let the vision of a couple of Bunny Jesters send you into a permanent relapse.....

But the next piece of excellent news is that I have also found my sugar collection. 8-)

Bizarrely, I don't have a bunny outfit. The other thing I did find, however, was this!

I sincerely hope so. Bit annoyed that after I finally found the book I realised I'd been spelling Bunnylump incorrectly for all these years!
