Did you have a good weekend? I expect the weather helped, too! :)

It was really nice to have someone else to talk to after all these weeks with just the two of us and the occasional stranger walking past the house. :D

And yes the weather was kind, We ignored the few spots of rain while we were having our barbecue yesterday lunchtime. Luckily there were only a few!

She went in the car park outside the vets in the rain (with a long canula for social distance from the vet) while Sarah cuddled her.

Ah, great! So glad you made it there. :D Do you see what I mean about the setting? So atmospheric. I just love it. You really should try that waterfall walk as well. Thomas would love going behind the waterfall!

Sadly, the Welsh weather reasserted itself before we got to do that walk. :( (But we generally had a really lovely week.)

Oh, that's a great shame. You'll just have to go again another time. :D Glad you had a good holiday.

I can vouch for the lovely week in Wales... :D
Sadly my ageing limbs don't let me climb up those steep hills like I used to, so I didn't make it to the castle, but the pictures are impressive :) .

Oh, that's a shame. :( But glad you had a good time! :D

I've been having "one of those days" today. FINALLY managed to arrange to go and visit my Dad (who has really not been very well - had a stroke and also had to have his ear removed... :( ) Things have been conspiring against me going - obviously Coronavirus has been a big problem because of him shielding - but we had hoped to be able to at least go and sit a long way away from him in his garden. But no, when the weather was suitable, his conservatory roof had to be replaced as it developed a serious leak. Then, the weather...can't sit in the garden in a thunderstorm. Anyway, finally decided to bite the bullet and go today, he's agreed that he's happy for us to be in the conservatory at a distance. So what happens? A stone is thrown up whilst on the M25 half way there, resulting in a foot long crack in the windscreen. So we came home again.

All I can say is AAARRRGGGHH!

 Oh dear, hope you get the windscreen sorted - and that you do eventually get to see your Dad.

Could you push one of the thunderstorms in our direction please? We have had only minimal rain for weeks now!

:o  We are completely waterlogged here - the park is still flooded from last week (the one we walked through with Looby and Claire past the nice church.) https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk ... in-4428239

Hurray! It's raining! :D
Not exactly what I'd call heavy rain yet but at least it is light rain that has lasted for more than a few minutes! The garden will be happy and I may get a day off watering. :D
Thanks for the help Bunnylump.

Well I'm glad you've got rain, but I didn't do too good a job of deflecting it from here - it's been raining all day today! Poor tortoise may have to learn to swim at this rate!
