With all the doom and gloom on the news and the oor weather - I thought I would share something which made me laugh at work today

I was sent an email today headed Irish Medical Dictionary - The Irish have the lowest stress te because they do not take medical teminology seriously.........

Artery - The study of paintings

Bacteria - back door to the cafeteria

Barium - what doctors do when patients die

Benign - what you be , after you be eight

Caesarean section - A neighbourhood in Rome

Cat scan - Searching for kitty

Cauterize - made eye contact with her

Dilate - to live long

Enema - not a friend

Fester - quicker than someone else

Fibula - a small lie( I did like this one

Labour pain- Getting hurt at work

Morbid - a higher offer

Nitrates - Rates of pay for working at night

Outpatient -A person who has fainted

Pelvis - second cousin to Elvis

Rectum - nearly killed him

Secretion - hiding something

Tumour - one plus one more

Urine - opposite of your out
