Can anyone let me know if they have or have seen any different baby patterns, I'm bored with the ones I have and they are so expensive (sorry feeling the pinch and trying to knit for the local hospital). Also any plain round necked baby cardi, I have only 1 in my collection.
I will reimburse for photocopying.

for some reason Wulfruna has just been looking through all her old baby knitting patterns.

She's away at the moment, so I'll point her to this thread on her return next week.

I think that a knitted baby would be immensely preferable to the real thing.

I was thinking more along the lines of "horse's head in the bed". (Knitted, naturally

)

Scurra
If you have the pattern for the horse head I can think of a couple of people I could give it too.

I've just been reading this thread and weeing myself with laughter!! You lot are priceless!
Anyway, what I want to know is - looking at the title of this thread, why is Scurra reading it at all??

I think I object to the implication that knitting is only for girls...

(edit: great minds think alike)
However, like MBH I am also completely unable to resist a feed line when someone offers it, regardless of where it might be found.

My OH can knit, his mum taught him as he was older than his sister and she didn't have the patience to teach the little one. OH taught her instead.
I'm also teaching my grandson to knit. He wants to make his mum a pretty scarf.
