PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS THREAD.
It is for important information only so thats its easily findable. All questions etc on the other thread please.
The booking references for the booked caravans are 1485952 & 1487889. Available from 4pm Friday 20th until 10am Monday.
The caravans are paid for. Contact name Michelle.
My pitch # will be Pm'd to you all nearer the time. (Thanks Hazel for reminding me that this is a public site!) Maps available at reception (just inside the entrance) so you dont get lost on site, its pretty large. I'll pick one up in March. Who has a scanner I can post it to so it can be uploaded onto here in advance.
I got a further discount because I gained a brother. MBH- you are it. I picked you because we talk the same language. Lat, as you share the same name you've just become his wife and my SiL. Nobody will ask but just in case they do as they are a friendly lot and know me.
When I collect the keys for the hired van there will be passes in the pack for the pool & clubhouse. If they aren't dated then please dont add either your name or the date to them. That means I caould use them for visitors all year

Please note the amendment to my previous post. We have booked 2 hired vans +mine. That gives us a puzzle van, a workshop van and a quiet/eating van. The cost per person will be a maximum of £20.84 and you can stay up to 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun). The cost will decrease per person if we have more people coming along at a later date.We have plenty of space to accomodate last minuters. This doesn't include food. If anyone wants to stay an extra night or so then you are welcome to stay with me at no extra charge. I can accommodate up to 4 people (2 sharing) and I will be there up until Wednesday.

Address & Directions
Park Resorts, Withernsea Sands, Waxholme road, Withernsea. HU19 2BS.
Tel. 01964 612189. (This is reception tel. no. I will send my mobile to you all via Pm nearer the date)
M62, A63, A1033. The M62 becomes the A63 without noticing. Once you are on the M62 heading east it is a straight road so long as you take the 1033 turn off. At every roundabout T juction or whatever you go straight across and follow the road.At the very last point where it is undecided turn left and 100 yards down the road you will see the entrance. I will post up landmarks once I've got them into the correct order.
Sat navs may want you take the B1362. Don't take that turn off. Take the 1033. The B1362 will take you down narrow country roads and if you get stuck behind the man who drives at 10 miles per hour -or a tractor -it is not fun, especially on a Friday! There are very few points where you can overtake.
The 1033 will take you through Thorngumbald, Camerton, Keyingham, Ottringham and Patrington. (I need to put these in the correct order).
Withernsea Landmark As you get close to Withernsea the major landmark is a now non- working inland lighthouse (now a memorial to Kay Kendall who was born in Withernsea) which you can see from a fair few miles away.
You should see the lighthouse down a street to your left as you pass near it. If you actually reach the lighthouse turn into the street opposite it and veer left at the end.

I've been asked questions about dress & footwear.
Casual all the way . Jeans ,leggings or shorts, t- shirts & trainers will see you through. Dress up if you want to but I've had a pair of dress trousers in my caravan for 5 years, as yet unworn. They probably won't fit anyway now
Withernsea is flat unless you want to rock scale. I do flip flops in summer, boots in winter and have a pair of trainers for all seasons.
Decide on the weather but keep it casual. If it gets hot, it gets really hot. In the same way, if it's cold its really cold. Casual layers are best.

Things to Bring
Casual clothing to suit all weather. Layers are best, then you can put on or take off depending. Unless we are guaranteed a heatwave, then something light and waterproof as an outer layer would be a good idea.
Footwear - comfortable and casual. As I said previously, I do flip flops, trainers and boots. That covers all seasons.
Swimwear if the pool takes your fancy. The pool is heated and not deep so non swimmers can nicely walk about in it. There will be an adult only hour, usually around 8 or 9 am. I haven't checked out the times yet but will do so the day before.
Towels only if you are coming by car, one for swimming and one for showering. I have enough for anyone who forgets or is travelling by public transport.
Laptop and a dongle if you have either or both.

Things supplied by the site for hire vans
Each of the 2 hire vans will have a microwave, toaster, kettle, cooker, tv, fire and all beds will be made up. All cutlery and crockery -plus a comprehensive list of cooking utensils. All gas and electric consumption is include in the hire cost already. That cost is at the moment £20.84 per person for the entire weekend. If we have last minuters we can accomodate them and the cost per person would then reduce.
There is a launderette and an on site shop ( Which we aren't going to use for anything more than a newspaper!) The clubhouse ( carp drinks, even carper food and also expensive) has wifi.

Things I have or will put on the communal shopping list.
I have an iron & ironing board, hairdryer & a hot air thingy that has various styling attachments, extra heaters, even a hoover if anyone really feels the need
I will provide both of the hire vans with a kit to include:
tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, spread, soft drinks, cereal, biscuits, tea towel, loo roll, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, washing up liquid. Its not my intention to buy a bottle per van. I've been saving my empty bottles so I will only buy one bottle of each to split and I will "buy back" any used.
I will also have my fridge stocked with menu items(menu to follow on a seperate thread) that you can help yourself to at any point.

Menu etc.
This is the general plan -plus a kit for each of the hire vans as already posted.
I will do a tesco run on Friday evening (its open until 9pm) for anyone who wants to get drinks etc rather than bring them. If you already know that you want me to get anything in particular for personal use, then Pm me.
Can you all PM me with your mobile numbers please and make sure you have them switched on on Friday? I will Pm you all with mine + my pitch number. First to arrive will be able to collect my key if I'm out collecting people. Food & drinks will be ready so you can help yourselves.

Drivers.
Fill up at the Shell garage on the way in on the A63. Its cheaper by about 4p per litre. There is also a Shell on the way out before you hit the motorways.
