Hmmm. I guess that question is the current equivalent of asking "Who
are the Beatles?"

(It's a popular series of fantasy books, m'lud, that was turned into a pretty good tv series, albeit one with a higher proportion of sex'n'violence than usual.)

So that explains why you know about it...?
Well, in my experience, very little sex'n'violence occurs in Kings Langley. Whatever that Local Councillor might have to say.

I have heard of it, but I couldn't have told you if it was a book / film / TV programme / video game or what!

Well, even I had noticed it amongst the TV schedules (considering how little TV I actually watch!) It was much over-hyped at the time of its launch, but whilst I quite enjoy some types of fantasy novels, I didn't fancy a TV series....

My son and his Godmother have long discussions (usually over dinner, with the rest of us looking on) about this Game of Thrones thing. I think I may be too embarrassed to watch it with them somehow.
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

Er, possibly. Although if they know you've read
50 Shades, then maybe not.

The tv version is a bit graphic at times though...

I can't be tempted by 50 Shades of Grey. I think detailed descriptions of someone else having sex must be HORRIBLY boring. I don't understand what all the fuss is about!!

I'll join in with the original discussion

I know the title but don't know anything about characters, storyline, or the sex'n'violence. [Now how do you work this series catch-up?

That's how I always imagined Brian Blessed doing an audio book anyway.
