123dragon urged all males on here to take a prostate cancer check. You may remember her husband died, aged 59 , because he did nothing.

It is a simple blood test. My BIL has just been diagnosed with it. Colin had to be checked too because if you have a first generation relative ( brother father son etc) you move into the higher risk group. Under 40 it's rare but not unheard of. 40,000 men are diagnosed with this cancer every year.

Next time you men go to the docs, ask them to do the test.

please also be aware that if you have a sister, mother aunt etc who has suffered breast cancer then you also move up in the at risk groups. Why? no idea.

I'm in the very high risk area for breast cancer as my Mum had it. But even so, getting them to check me before the age of 50 was nigh on impossible. :roll:
