Maybe Thomas could join in the quiz too, if he's still up? :)

Normal bedtime is about 8.30pm, but that stretches a bit in the holidays. He does still like having a book at bedtime, too, with Grandma as the expected reader...

That's the bit I like best! :) Mind you, Pickle would happily listen to 20 stories in a row given half a chance!

I'm sure we could be persuaded. :D Sounds like a good idea assuming others are also up for it. :D

Okey dokey, do Thursdays still suit you all? If so, I could do Thurs 23rd Jan or Thurs 30th? Happy to make it a different day if that suits more people...?

Possibly, but I believe 23rd will be tricky as I shall be likely away in the Hebrides 23rd/24th. P-Dawg likes to have as many pets as possible close at hand for quizzles. She knows her stuff, but her stuff is quite limited. Plus she's rubbish on the computer and her typing is terrible.

If that means 30th is better for SparkOut that should be OK for us.

It is not definitely set, and if I were to be more than tentative, then the Great Big Plan-Mangler would come and monster all over it, and I would be away on 30th instead (or as well).

Is there a date which would work better for you, Sparkout? Maybe you could give us a list of dates which would be better and then see which ones fit? I can usually organise around most things, just definitely can't do next Thursday as I have Pickle overnight again. And although she is SUPPOSED to go to bed at about 6.30, that is not always the case!

Tomorrow? Or sometime. One or the other. The Great Big Plan-Mangler doesn't tell us of his visits in advance.

Oh, sorry, tomorrow is a bit difficult, I've got the family coming for dinner. Any other suggestions? :)

Well if not tomorrow, the only alternative is "sometime" then. Just leave it up to the Great Big Plan-Mangler. It will turn out ok, and probably on 30th, unless he monsters on it, but then there's nothing anyone can do about that.

Most Thursdays are also fine for me but I can't do next Thursday (16th Jan) or 20th Feb.

OK shall we say 30th then and keep fingers crossed for canine presence? Is that OK with everyone?
