Puzzlebrains

In one of the early Puzzlebrains, there was reference to a tapestry. I've lost the old magazines in our massive move, but am looking for information on that tapestry in the magazine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Aa to the question, I don't know for sure, I suspect it was one from the "pre" edition or pilot magazine, A Brief History of Western Art? I seem to recall a "monastic year" puzzle based on medieval art, I think that might have been "adjusted" from a tapestry. Perhaps I am misremembering though. I will try and hunt it down or maybe find other suggestions when I can use my computer again. For some reason my phone doesn't let me see some stuff.

I've been trying to work out which one it might be, and that's the only thing I can think of as well, but I don't think the original was a tapestry.

No it wasn't a tapestry. But I will have a flip through and scan any other likely culprits that I may find.

Thank you for looking into this for me. I lost almost all of my old Puzzlebrains in a divorce and a move of country. But gained a life I guess. Florida is wonderful. We were fortunate, we live on a golf course and were able to mostly live life as normal. We are all vaccinated and although things are starting to open up here, we are still playing safe and staying at home or out on the fairways.

We are putting together a puzzle museum here (we have over 50,000 pieces now) and are looking for a large puzzling tapestry to mount over the garage door. We have thrown the hurricane locks on the door and it's been turned into a rather nice looking display area. I thought for sure there was something in PuzzleBrains all those years ago. I did find The Bayeux Tapestry online and wonder if we did a puzzle around this. My memory isn't as good as it used to be....

Well I would have thought that if there was a puzzle involving a tapestry, then a simple search for the word would turn up the forum thread discussing it, but it's only a short list of results, easy to dismiss. One of those hits does refer to a draw-your-own tapestry painter online. Perhaps it was a game-thing?
