My hall was always a bit of a non-descript/junk area - so this year - having painted it - decided to have a number of pictures in frames - that meant something to me - sort of discussion points....

currently have 4 new frames - that need filling and adding to the wall!

Oh - I had a different one for Tangerine - how does that fit in your answer? - I used it in 6, My darling, I cannot keep all my hearth alive to you
I also have different numbers for the clues as I think you resorted some.

Anyway: the ones I have that you are missing

Thank you for those, although I still can't work out how this one works...
I'd heard so much about Alvaro Mendoza the football coach that while in Central America I simply had to see the man - and Al's team - GUAVA

I honestly thought that with only 14 to pair up it would get easier. Sadly, that is not the case! How the heck we should be able to fit things like PINEAPPLE into a short phrase, yet STILL can't get it is beyond me! :lol:

Yep - I thought that as we narrowed them down it would get easier...

re the one you queried - man and A;'s team becomes mana(gua va)ndal's team!!! spent a bit of time on google for that one - having thought it could be vandals!

I keep wanting the mysterious CUMQUAT one to be in
Switzerland and Holland, countries as different as chalk and cheese, are both celebrating the Emmentaler centenary this year.

something like Emmental cum quatre but that doesn't really quite work. Goodness knows where else it might go!

Also, keep wondering about
