I've currently got Rod Stewart on the TV but muted as I've been listening to Melanie instead, and it does look weird with him and some dancers cavorting around the stage when I've no idea what song he's singing.

Tonight I went to see Nils Lofgren. He played a harp, various different guitars, keyboard and produced a percussive effect on a miked board by TAP DANCING. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Tvtq8lZbT0

Well, it's different!!

...and tonight I went to see Bellowhead. Brilliantly entertaining - but oh my gosh, after all that jumping about, singing and clapping I'm cream crackered! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fXHSRx ... iQ4GgPJe1e

Just had a wonderful, musical evening. Went to a carol concert, then for a meal, then to a ukulele / sing along evening at the pub, which was absolutely brilliant fun. :D :D Found myself agreeing to learn the ukulele so that I can join in next time... :o   Although just singing along was fabulous fun.

Now there's a thought..... can just visualise you strumming away with gusto :o :o
How about a musical singalong at the next PB meet? That's guaranteed to keep Scurra away of course........

  Now, there's a thought! I must say that it would be a challenge, as I am a guitarist, and the ukulele is strung / tuned differently, so for example, that what would be an D major chord on a guitar would be the fingering for a G major on a ukulele! Not sure my poor befuddled brain would cope! Although we do happen to have two ukuleles lying around upstairs, so there is no excuse, really...

 Yup, that's true. And the first time I met you we had a hotelier who was convinced we were secretly going to want to have our breakfast together... :o Goodness knows what might happen the next time.

I recall you volunteered to help the hole-in-the-head gang dispose of undesirables.

Well, just as long as it's worthwhile. I'm not keen to increase my criminal activity unless it's something like kedgeree and Earl Grey.

Although I can't help thinking that we might be quite easy to spot when we make our getaway due to the give away ukulele and bagpipes.
