Finished!!!

#1 Post by pnward » Fri Oct 31, 2008 9:11 am

Only joking, just thought it was a bit quiet on here this morning. Which means everyone else has either finished it or just given up.
Lets get some ideas thrown around.

:D

Golly that gave me a shock when I logged on!

I am currently pondering Bar-oquen and the Arnolfini mirror. Not entirely successfully. Maybe I need a visit to Spain for inspiration.

I'd take anything for inspiration right now. Even the rain.

 You nearly gave me a heart attack there pnward!

Do you know I've been dreaming about this bl***y puzzle site. I dreamt that Gill and Scurra set up a day centre for elderly puzzlers who still hadn't finished this puzzle book. We were all old and wrinkly and I had incontinence problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Mind you, that last description is probably closer than we'd all like to admit)!

Oh bunnylump, reading that nearly gave me incontinence problems!!!!

I'm quiet because I needed a break after Da vinci's code. Let's hope it hasn't put me off for life.

Well it's really got to you bunny, if you are dreaming about it.

As for elderly puzzlers with incontinence problems, I was putting it down to the cold weather, but now you mention it I have aged and keep running to the loo ever since this book has arrive (I take it with me so I won't waste any time). :)
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

    Laughing hurts

I know why I have that problem right now. I hope it doesn't continue into old age. We can all be in rooms next to each other. Will padding be included?

Is the padding for the room or to deal with the problems?

A smug purple rabbit smiley is now appropriate, for both me and LAT I believe. However, I have not the remotest idea of what to do with that grid, so I think I've done as much as I can (in the middle bit that is). I'm now going to go back to the cats puzzle, which I am still considering beating Scurra up about). :D

I've also done the grid. But can I find the ruddy missing artist? NO!

Shall I publicly post all those PMs you sent me now, Bunny?

What, the ones where I was having a tantrum because I'd spent 6 hours trying to find a bally answer*?? Or the ones when I was threatening to kill you*? Or do you mean the grovelling apology ones when I realised I had just sent you a message in a fit of pique and shouldn't really have done it*? I don't mind admitting that I'm a big baby!!

*You can all see how much he loves getting love letters from me, can't you?

 Who are the Evil Midnight Bombers???I've been called some things in my time (usually by Scurra) but never a bomber...

Could I just publicly thank all those people who have given me shoves and hints, especially SparkOut and LAT, who were also just on the verge of getting an answer themselves. I have tried hard to reciprocate as much as possible, and am obviously still up for some serious sledgehammer action if anyone should require it.

How was that for an Oscar speech?? (She wipes the tears and snot off her face on her designer dress, stumbles on her 6" stilettos, catches them in the back of her dress and tumbles a over t down the stairs...)
