Help Please!

#1 Post by Bunnylump » Thu Nov 27, 2008 8:59 pm

I've just had a request from my son, who is at university studying conservation biology and ecology. They have been asked to make up a display on a conservation issue, which has a snappy (hopefully amusing) title. For example, he has done his on bats having problems with lactation when global warming has caused a water shortage, and has the title "Bitty for Batties".

His girlfriend has done a piece on how termite eggs hatch at different times to prevent sibling canibalism. She now needs a snappy title - and is struggling badly. It needs to be handed in tomorrow.

Has anyone got any bright ideas??

Eggcelent answers. I have passed them all on. Thanks. I've asked him to let me know if she uses one of them! :D

So now the hot favourite is "Mitey Mothers work ova time" (so thank you all for your suggestions - Cenwulf I think you win the prize). :D If anyone else has any further suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Message from my son:

"Tell everyone thank you so much for their help. Tanya says thanks, that was brilliant." :D

I was hoping we'd get some feedback :) Glad we could help.

Has a 'final result' been decided on?

Does he also realise how useful a sideways mounted puzzle brain can be under the right circumstances?

Apparently she dithered for ages because they were all so good. Finally picked the slightly modified version of Cenwulf's mentioned above. It was actually brilliant because I was able to say "So now you can't refer to it( as he does, jokingly) as my "sad puzzle site" any more!

I'll get him to appreciate the benefits of puzzling if it kills me!!

Thank you all, once again, for your help here. :D
