Oh, you are so nearly there! As soon as you realise where they are from...
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Re: Monthly Puzzles
I think "Grace and her children move into a new house in Jersey, but haunting causes annoyances. (3,6)" should be 3,7?
Re: Monthly Puzzles
And possibly "The world's most famous clown spends Halloween in a dilapidated hospital with friends (4) 2005 3" should have 4 as the last digit too? (or maybe 2)
I liked this one a lot

Re: Monthly Puzzles
Favourite clue so far is 'A writer befriends a Polish Immigrant....'
but lots have been good.
Am still working my way through them.

And Sparkout has solved the July puzzle whilst it's still June.

Re: Monthly Puzzles
Is the letter count correct on the Rebel princess clue? I'd like it to be 5,4
Re: Monthly Puzzles
Funny, I solved it having copied 5,4 down, so didn't notice that count. I think it should be 5,4 too. (Well, it is)
Re: Monthly Puzzles
I agree about those other clues, also admired the ingenuity in the Novelist arrives in Vienna clue.

Re: Monthly Puzzles
Hello again folks. Here is my offering for August, hope you like it. Both pages have the same answers, there is just a cryptic version on one and a standard puzzle on the other.
EDIT
Sorry, removed as per comment below.

Re: Monthly Puzzles
Are the grids meant to be the same? The straight grid doesn't have 15 down whereas the cryptic grid does. Which also means the numbering from 15 onwards doesn't match.
