I think she was operating a Sodastream...or possibly doing Ivor the Engine impressions...

Welcome to clvrlad. Here's Round 12:
Gunfight at the Mediocre Corral
Sherrif Sam Ragan has heard the the Dirty Dozen of the n00bz Gang have just arrived at the Mediocre Corral to dig up the gold they buried there some time back. But there is no love lost among these ruthless desperados, and each of them has decided to shoot one of the other eleven in order to get a bigger share of the loot.

There are some funny things which can happen, though (and only occur in games like this one - it happened in Scurra's game). If two people shoot at each other, the bullets collide in mid-air and ricochet back at the people who fired them. And if two or more people fire at the same person, the bullets collide in mid-air and go off in a different direction completely, and miss everyone - so the target survives (unless of course that person is victim of a ricochet!).

Scoring:
You survive by nobody shooting you: +5 points.
You survive by several people shooting at you but the bullets collide: +1 point per assailant, and all your assailants lose 1 point.
You die by being shot by someone else: -5 points
You die by your own bullet due to a ricochet: -3 points

The only advantage is that you have 5 honour points so you won't end up with a negative score. In round 8, Laura pressed her own button and lost them all. If she'd started from zero, she would have got a negative score, which can't happen to the most recent n00b.
Having said that, there has been very little opportunity for finishing a round with a negative score so far.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out! I was hoping no-one had noticed how badly I was doing at this! Lets see if I manage a bit better this time.

Cenwulf, have I sent you my entry for this round? I sent you one and deleted it later on, but I'm not sure if you read it before it was deleted?

When I looked in my Inbox, it merely said you had deleted the message. I didn't have chance to read it. I'm not on the computer every day, so I am prone to miss some things.

Since I'm home I suppose I should send in an answer - a list of who all the n00bs are would have been a help (my memory doesn't work all that well with jet lag - or at any other time)

edit OK so I'm more stupid than even I suspected. Go to 1st post to check who joined 1st ..."Oh, gosh! A list!!"

Don't worry, I wasn't aware of that list until about a minute ago when I read your post. I've been putting off having to go through all of the rounds looking for each n00b in turn.

Here are the results for Round 12:
"When Sherrif Ragan arrived, he found two dead and the other ten rather shell-shocked, as they had all fired at exactly the same time.
Of the two who were dead, one was Webslinger, a victim of Pussyfoot: the other was The Demon, who had been killed by Le Fou.
Of the survivors, nobody had shot at Hopalong, Pussyfoot, Dollface, Greenfingers, Syd Lexic or The Boss.
Both The Boss and Syd Lexic had tried to kill Le Fou, but the bullets had collided. The same thing had happened when El Gringo and The Demon had shot at Monarch, when Webslinger, Monarch and Dollface had fired at Angeleyes, and when Hopalong, Angeleyes and Greenfingers had all tried to shoot El Gringo.
Ragan sighed, and arrested the lot of them. Then he sent his deputy back to town to tell the undertakers Rigg and Mortice that there were two bodies."

In Summary:
Bunnylump (Hopalong) wasn't shot at, and shot at fernando but missed due to a collision. 5-1 = 4 points
LAT (Pussyfoot) wasn't shot at, and shot at MBH and killed him. 5 points.
fernando (El Gringo) survived a collision of 3 bullets, and shot at kingsley but missed due to a collision. 3-1 = 2 points.
kathlyn (Angeleyes) survived a collision of 3 bullets, and shot at fernando but missed due to a collision. 3-1 = 2 points.
Looby (Dollface) wasn't shot at, and shot at kathlyn but missed due to a collision. 5-1 = 4 points.
kingsley (Monarch) survifved a collison of 2 bullets, and shot at kathlyn but missed due to a collision. 2-1 =1 point.
Scurra (Le Fou) survived a collision of 2 bullets and shot at evilkeen, killing him. 2 points.
Laura (Greenfingers) wasn't shot at, and shot at fernando but missed due to a collision. 5-1 = 4 points.
MBH (Webslinger) was killed by LAT, and shot at kathlyn but missed due to a collision. -5-1 = -6 points.
evilkeen (The Demon) was killed by Scurra, and shot at kingsley but missed due to a collision. -5-1 = -6 points.
gill216 (The Boss) wasn't shot at, and shot at Scurra but missed due to a collision. 5-1 = 4 points.

To play the next round, we need another n00b. Who wants to be n00b 13?
