Sorry Scurra I thought your guess was History of the World Part 1. (You've spent the past year telling us not to assume anything!!)

Cenwulf is correct.

The answer is Bell, Book and Candle.
Ring = Bell
to reserve = Book
a light = Candle

Here's a replacement:

Hey, I can do that one! I actually quite liked the recent movie of that sixties tv show although I think Nicole didn't have nearly as good a nose action...

(Incidentally, I was also surprised to find out where the song the clue refers to came from. I knew it was Rogers & Hammerstein, but I don't think I've ever seen it or even heard any other songs from the show.)

(guessing that I did solve the last one: Bewitched)

Here's a film that is currently on release.

David Copperfield

Yes, it was 'Bewitched'.

Next time, please give the title rather than performing percussion circumlocutory to a rhododendron - or beating about the bush.

For those not in the know, the reference was to the song 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered'.

The new one makes me think of The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Well, that was the first thing to pop into my head. I'm not a cinema-goer and tend to get all my info from the newsapapers.
After spotting an advert, I now realise the answer is The Illusionist.

Assuming that The Illusionist was correct, here's the next clue:

Iain Duncan Smith
