Evilkeen, Sorry. I have deleted your last post as it contained an explanation as to how to go about solving one of the puzzles in explicit detail.

Fernando specifically requested that no answers be sent to him. This is his homework and he doesn't want to cheat.

Perhaps you'd like to repost, maybe asking for a PM discussion with someone who has solved that particular puzzle or who is also having problems?

Ooh, sorry if I said too much! I can't remember exactly what I said, but I certainly didn't give any answers, as I didn't have them and I was seeking some clarification! :?

Giraffe made me put this as I wouldn't mind a little help on the quiz.

Evilkeen,

No problem. No, you didnt give the answer, but your method of solving may have given a little too many hints had he been stuck. Call it parental control by proxy if you like :D

Fernando- No chance. Unless anyone does it by PM of course

Yes, fair enough, I guess I wasn't thinking of it as a hint to solving it so much as just determining whether it was possible at all. Anyway, I'm still stuck on it as it stands ... :(

A new version of questions 4 and 6 has been posted, so if anyone printed them before 4pm Sunday, you might like to reprint. (A couple of bits were missing)

Um, I think there's still a problem with Q.4 - there are now 8 blank circles, and 9 numbers to fit into them.

From what giraffe told me earlier, I think the 1 in a circle next to the 17 should be blank. Without that it all works nicely! :D

My post disappeared yet again and Scurra did not steal it. I've checked. He has stolen several but only those who have been here in the very late evening or early hours will know or have noticed that

Editted by me: Just realised I'd done exactly the same as Evilkeen, again unintentionally.

Edited by Gill:

Sorry again Evilkeen. Just realised I'd done exactly the same thing as you did earlier today and having deleted my own paux fas I had to carry it through to yours:oops:

I'd concur with that! Perhaps thats why the second part of the question has more than one answer. ;)

How far has everyone got so far :?:

I have completed 1,2 and 6 and done half of question 3.

Has anyone got anywhere with question 5 because it has bamboozled me and my long-necked relative?

Hmm - had a look at this thinking it might point to a less visible 'number sequence' - but didn't think that introducing kids to the layout of the roulette wheel would be politically correct

Anyway - it wasn't either of the circles of numbers that came to my mind - there may be others...

I'm on holiday from tonight, so I'll see if I can get anywere (although being on holiday gives me less time usually rather than more) :)

I'm afraid that's the one question I haven't got anywhere with! Sorry. :(
