Good job Strep98 is not a n00b yet (she wouldn't be able to participate in this round as she has given up chocolate for lent.) ;)

Are giraffes notoriously quiet then?

Now that made me wonder...and this is what I found.
"The sounds of wild rabbits, like those of domesticated rabbits, are almost always very soft and tentative. Often you will haveto listen very carefully or you won't hear them at all.

[1] Faint grinding noise produced by jaw movement: An expression of contentment, this sound is produced primarily when the back of the rabbit's neck is scratched. It is more pronounced in some rabbits than in others.

[2] Spitting: Always a sign of aggression. A brief spitting sound may precede an attack. It has little similarity to the spitting noises made by cats, however.

[3] Brief growling: This sound is usually produced by bucks shortly after mating.

[4] Cooing: Dwarf does often coo when nursing their young, and rabbits may produce this sound when communicating with each other, if they feel safe, sound and secure. The range of sounds is quite broad, and the noises are similar to the cooing of doves, although the rabbits' cooing is less even and deeper in pitch."
Giraffes communicate with one another by infrasonic sound. They do, at times, vocalize to one another by grunts or whistle-like cries. Some other communication sounds for giraffes are moaning, snoring, hissing, and flutelike sounds. When alarmed, a giraffe grunts or snorts to warn neighbouring giraffes of the danger. Mother giraffes can whistle to their young calves. Also, cows search for their lost young by making bellowing calls. The calves return their mother’s calls by bleating or mewing. While courting an estrous cow, male giraffes may cough raucously.
Sounds just like you!

Well, we should really be able to get up to n00b79 or something at the moment.

Am I allowed to eat all of the chocolate before anyone poisons it?!

No, because the chocolates aren't handed round until after the n00bz have finished poisoning them. Then we find out who turns blue and collapses.
And anyway, the chocs are VRChox, a virtual form of chocolate with none of the calories. :)

Or fat.... :|

Or sugar....

Or, for that matter, taste. You just have to imagine the flavour for yourself. :(

After every n00b has taken two chocolates, discarded one and eaten the other, all remaining poisoned chocs will be disposed of by Professor Todd at the main USWaC site. The remaining safe chocs will be handed round at Morton Kingswood College. ;)

I think this is highly suspicious. How will Prof. Hill know which of the remaining chocolates are poisoned without trying them?

As the Host for this game, I'll be in the know and in the Norwich about which ones are poisoned. Those will be off to Stonefields to be disposed of in the proper way. (And no, I don't mean that Prof. Todd will be feeding them to his students!)

Here are the results for Round 13:
Firstly, these are the poisoned chocs:
Caramel (by fernando and Laura)
Coconut (by MBH and SparkOut)
Coffee (by kingsley, Scurra and gill216)
Hazelnut (by Bunnylump and clvrlad)
Marzipan (by LAT)
Nougat (by Looby)
Turkish Delight (By kathlyn and evilkeen).
Of these, nobody ate the Coconut, the Hazelnut or the Nougat.

So what was eaten?
Brazilnut - MBH (safe)
Caramel - LAT and evilkeen (poisoned)
Coffee - fernando and Looby (poisoned)
Fudge - clvrlad (safe)
Marzipan - Scurra and Laura (poisoned)
Orange Cream - kathlyn and SparkOut (safe)
Turkish Delight - Bunnylump, kingsley and gill216 (poisoned)

And what was discarded?
Brazil nut - fernando (safe)
Caramel - SparkOut (poisoned)
Coffee - clvrlad (poisoned)
Marzipan - Bunnylump, Looby and kingsley (poisoned)
Nougat - kathlyn (poisoned)
Orange cream - gill216 (safe)
Raspberry Ruffle - LAT (safe)
Strawberry Cream - Scurra and evilkeen (safe)
Toffee - MBH (safe)
Turkish Delight - Laura (poisoned)

So:
Bunnylump: poisoned 0, ate poisoned, discarded poisoned: -2-3+3 = -2
LAT: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded safe: +2-3-3 = -4
fernando: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded safe: +2-3-3 = -4
kathlyn: poisoned 3, ate safe, discarded poisoned: +3+3+3 = +9
Looby: poisoned 0, ate poisoned, discarded poisoned: -2-3+3 = -2
kingsley: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded poisoned: +2-3+3 = +2
Scurra: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded safe: +2-3-3 = -4
Laura: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded poisoned: +2-3+3 = +2
MBH: poisoned 0, ate safe, discarded safe: -2+3-3 = -2
evilkeen: poisoned 3, ate poisoned, discarded poisoned: +3-3-3 = -3
gill216: poisoned 2, ate poisoned, discarded safe: +2-3-3 = -4
clvrlad: poisoned 0, ate safe, discarded poisoned: -2+3+3 = +4
SparkOut: poisoned 0, ate safe, discarded poisoned: 0+3+3 = +6

Current scores:
LAT 62
Bunnylump 60
kathlyn 48
fernando 47
