Are we going with Cenwulf's one then? (I don't mind, even though I want it to be noted that I might have got something right first for once  )

I should point out that that is very difficult on this system. If someone has already replied to a post, the system should come up with a message saying so, and showing you the intervening message. Are you sure that didn't happen, Cenwulf?

We're just conspiring to blow your system up, Scurra.

This 'warning' has been helpful to me in the past - but very often (normal threads) I add or correct what I need to my post and then override the warning.

Good tool though :)

Hmmm - interestingly I was answering Scurra's and I didn't get the warning about Bunny :? Must be a 'timing' thing.

Ah. It's obviously the Bunny who is causing the problems then.
Why am I not surprised?

All that happened was that I submitted my post and when it appeared it was at the top of a new page. I wasn't aware of Bunny's post.
Perhaps the 'intervening message' facility only works if it detects the previous post - if the posts are submitted very close together it may not notice the simulposting.
