I'm sure many of you are familiar with the '4 S of a Y' (4 seasons in a Year) puzzles and I know I posted a Word document of them 'over there' once before. Well at the weekend I came across some which I must admit I have never seen - see what you guys think, I think I've managed to get all but 1 of them.

1648 must be* something to do with
a Battle (or Birth) but I can't think of anyone with the right initials, so I'm inclined to think it's a Cromwellian thing. (Anyone know anything about Cromwell round here?
) Maybe a European battle I suppose - I'm hallucinating probably, but my subconscious is trying to say the G is German(y).
*the words "must be" are used figuratively!
