Re: Brainteaser
It might be, but I was always taught it as OMR. But this is my mother we are talking about.

Re: Brainteaser
My version would be OMR as well. I remember the actions and everything.
And OTR would be something you see on a video recorder. (Or used to see, when there were such things, before DVD and hard disk recorders. Not that I've got one of those, but about 6 VCRs in various stages of dust filled degeneration.)

Re: Brainteaser
I never even learned how to use the video recorder, let alone all these other new fangled things. Whenever I want to watch a film on the Playstation 2 I have to get one of the kids to start it for me!
Maisie Ladybird- I only knew what this was all about because I'd seen it before. When I first saw it, it confused the hell out of me!!

I thought Playstations were for playing games. Can you watch films on them?
I think I'm a bit out of touch. But I can programme the VCR. I'm the only one who ever does in our house.
EDIT - and why are we talking about your Mother Bunnylump? I'm all confused here.
(definitely time for bed)

Re: Brainteaser
Sorry, I was being distracted by an impossipuzzle.
Oh just that it was her who taught me the OTTFF thing. The Playstation can also be used as a DVD player. I wouldn't know how to use it as a games player either. I'm utterly carp at those kinds of things.

Re: Brainteaser
Yes - my justification for getting a PlayStation2 was the fact that we needed a DVD player for the main TV downstairs.
My wife stil needs telling EVERY TIME how to set it going

Re: Brainteaser
For someone who did all those letter sequences in the Runes, Mrs Giraffe, I'm amazed you don't know this one.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
