The clues all give place names outside the UK. The number in brackets gives the total number of letters in the answer, but it may be more than one word. Some answers are the old (previous) name for a city or town.

I have answers for most of these now.

Anyone like to offer help with #6, 21, 37, 46 & 48

I have answers for 2 of them but would like to see if anyone else thinks as I do and for 3 I don't have suitable answers at all
