“Hints”

We are very pleased to welcome on board our very own Bunnylump. She was crazy enough to test solve this latest issue, and has also been daft enough to agree to assist on the help line. Scurra and I would both like to extend our very sincere thanks to her. We both hope that her involvement in Puzzlebrains will extend beyond “Down the Tube”- she has the option to change her mind at any point but we both really hope that she won’t.

Instead of sending your requests for checks, nudges hints etc directly to me would you now please PM “Hints” instead. No matter if you forget- I will still respond to any help requests sent to gill216. “Hints” may be answered by any one of us- with the exception of the meta. Scurra will be the only person to respond to any such requests.

It would assist us greatly if you would specify the category of help required:

Check- You will receive a reply along the lines of “you have something wrong”
Full check- You will be told exactly what is right and what is wrong
Nudge- a gentle pointer
Hint- an indication of what to do next
Shove- Equivalent to a spoiler

Please don’t be afraid to request more help if the first reply is not enough to help you on your way. We really don’t mind how many times you come back to us and we’d rather you did that than be stuck.
