Renewals, hints and more.

Puzzlebrains is 1 year old on 1st November! How the time has flown. Old friends re-united and new friends welcomed on board.

Thank you for all the support you have all given us over the past year, whether that be by purchasing the magazine, submitting puzzles and/or test solving.

You are all aware that we have found it necessary to rationalise the cost of the magazine in order to continue the puzzlefest. While the increase may be seen as quite a large increase (as a percentage)- we are confident that this is not an increase we would envisage on a yearly basis. In fact we would hope to maintain this price indefinitely.

As of today, prices are :

Single Issue

Uk -£3.75 + 75p P&P
Europe - £3.75 + £1.75 P&P
Rest of the World- £3.75 + £2.25 P&P

This represents an increase of £1 per issue (12.5p per week) across the board.

Subscriptions - guaranteed 6 issues

UK - £26
Europe-£32
Rest of the world- £35
All including P&P

If this presents a problem to anyone who wishes to renew their subscription, I will happily accept half year renewals. You will however need to contact me directly- by PM -so I can arrange this.

Hints

As of the release date of Last Chance to See, only Bunny & Gill will be running the hintline. We have listened to your comments!

For those of you who do prefer the more cryptic style of hint (and there are several of you out there) – and appreciate the explanations that usually accompany them- Scurra will be available AT ALL TIMES. Simply PM him direct.

Scurra will remain in sole charge of the Meta hints. Again, direct PM’s please.

PLEASE, if you need help, ask for it- and keep asking until you get the help you need. If you can’t get started, tell us what you’ve tried so far. If you are stuck, tell us where you are stuck. If you’ve tried nothing because you don’t know what to try, we need to know that too!! Bunny & Gill have been there several times before you- trust us on that one. Different puzzles maybe, but we have been there.

Answers.

We have made the decision to remove the answers from future issues. We will be posting them online instead- probably 2 or 3 weeks after the release of the next issue.

This will enable those who are still working on the previous magazines to continue doing so indefinitely. It will also release page space for other things.

It will also enable answers to contain more detailed explanations, hopefully giving greater insight into how the puzzles actually work.

The Forum.

May we remind everyone that the general forum is free to use for each and every one of our registered members and is not dependant upon the purchase of ANY issue. However, any non purchasers who abuse this facility may find their access withdrawn. Purchasers are contributing to the cost of providing and maintaining the forum and as such we must take this factor into consideration.
