Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
To be fair, it did give me some great fodder for a story I wrote for E. It's all about her climbing in the fairy house and going on an adventure, and finding the gnome on an island. The trouble is that she now thinks that's what she has to do to retrieve it - might be a bit hard as the fairy house is only a foot tall! Oh, and K and A hate me because every time she wants them to read it, it has a chapter with a Frog King who sings, and they have to do it right or she gets cross! Mental note: must stop feeding the grandchildren a load of waffle!

I'm sure K and A have worse things to contend with than getting the Frog King's song right. But I do remember that childish memory and insistence on things being just so!

Amazon's gift today was a bag with loads of round plastic things in it. I think they are meant to go over the feet of furniture to stop them scratching the floor. There must be about 50 in the bag.

Well here's today's challenge. Any ideas what these are? They are all the same, I just turned one over for the photo. They seem to be made of silicon.

We have a silicone pan scrub which looks similar, although ours is just circular. I'd guess that the deeper holes in the back would be to sink your fingers in so you have a good grip, and the other side is differently textured for varying levels of friction!

Are they any good? We got one of those silicone loo brushes and I'm really not impressed!
My next guess was going to be sex aid...

It worked better than expected, especially on stuff like cheese sauce that just coats a normal pan scrub.
However, I can't say for definite that your suggestion is wrong!

Now I'm intrigued! Care to elaborate?
They could be facial scrubs. I've thrown the outer packaging away but from memory it had something that could have been part of the word 'Cosmetic' on it.
Got what I think is a memory foam pillow yesterday. Haven't taken it out of the inner packaging yet as I doubt I'd get it back in again!

Well, maybe they are for buffing up your nipples? Does that count as cosmetic?

According to Pumpkin (who says she's obviously seen too many Facebook ads) they appear to be "make up brush cleaning mats"

She said thank you but no.
As to why you're having these random packages, it seems like a case of "brushing" : https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/clark.co ... order/amp/

Ah, well. When you get a huge consignment of dope and illicit brandy to your door, do let us know, we'll be round for the party.

Don't worry, you'll definitely get an invitation.
How about a Wifi visual ear spoon?
And I agree, it could be brushing but the odd thing is that at first the parcels were addressed to complete strangers. And they can't be previous inhabitants, as we have lived here for over 30 years.

Just when we thought the Amazon parcels had stopped we got a magnetic eyeliner and eyelashes kit a couple of days ago.
Then today we got a set of 100 velcro cable ties. They might actually be useful but 100 seems excessive.

Well at least we aren't alone! Although the weird thing about our deliveries is that they don't have our name, just our address.
I think this is the item we received
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Reusable-Magne ... 151&sr=8-6
As I understand it you apply the eyeliner and then stick the eyelashes to it but I may have that wrong. Not really my thing so if anyone would like it.........?
