No, I most certainly didn't take you for an air head. That's me who's the air head, and I can recognise one of my own kind from miles away. We have a herding instinct.

I just didn't have you down as an accountant!! Don't know what I thought you were, mind. But you must admit giraffes aren't usually accountants. More likely to be florists or centre lathe turners, I've heard.

MBH it's probably because you were 18, like me. Out on the town and probably full of hormones and lust.

That tells me so much about you, as well as how little you know about ME in those days

I'm still not out on the town but the last part probably still applies
Whereas I am now not only not out on the town any more, I also have a complete dearth of lust. Used it all up in the 1980s I think.

So you're not denying the tax evasion then? ;)

Clvrlad I bet you were one of those kids who continuously asked questions about everything? Just like my son. Two of my particular favourites were when he was about 3

2. WHY do I fall off my bike if it stays still, but stay on it when I'm moving?
...should have known we'd end up with another scientist in the family.
nope quite the opposite....id take things apart to see how they worked.....and then fail to put them back together... :-D

so how did you answer him?

Oh THAT was easy. "Go and ask your nanny" the other scientist in the family!!

And Giraffe, no I don't do tax evasion. I'm possibly the most scarily honest person you'd ever meet. So much so that I'll go back to a shop which has given me 20p too much change and give it back. Basically, a complete idiot.

Nahh - I had a fair idea who I was playing with  Some of my 'conversations' with Co-Op Society accountants still haunt me 15-years after the event  On one system I had a perfectly good "Accounts Arrears Report", and after a stupidly long discussion was finally abandoned I went off an wroe an "Accountant's Arrears Report" just for him. It calculated the way he wanted, but had NO business use

I'll just make sure MBH has completely different clues to everyone else at the Meet so he goes heading off in the wrong direction.

LOL - first rule of puzzle solving - trust NOTHING at face value ;)

[What on earth makes you think you need to give me the wrong clues to have THAT result?]

Could you electronically chip him to see just where he ends up?
