PB virtual party......(aka us not going to the meet )

This is a virtual party, we can have virtually anything we want! I'll have a glass of cold beer please and can I help myself to those nibbles over there.......

Oooh, Oooh, virtual alcohol! I'll have some please - a nice pint of Golden Sheep Ale please! (I've a bottle of this sitting in my cupboard that I got to celebrate being able to drink again after Thomas was born, but I've not dared to drink it since my tolerance will be shot to pieces having not drunk anything of any strength for ages and being as I'm rather tired at the moment, I'm just don't think I'd better risk drinking it yet)

So how is the little 'un doing Eirian - given this is a virtual party is he able to join in - perhaps blowing bubbles

Mummy says I'm growing up too fast, but I can't help that! I've been learning not to grab and pull Daddy's ear, and Mummy has been teaching me lots of choice words - mainly when she's fed me too much and I'm sick, so that's her fault! Oh, and apparently I need to stop being sick as I'm running out of clothes and the washing machine has broken.

I'm currently loving grabbing things and trying to put them in my mouth, but it keeps moving and I end up hitting my cheek instead. Mummy and Daddy are reading me nice books, but they keep singing along to the tunes, which is funny as they don't seem able to fit the words in with the tune *

I've got a nice new toy, but am not allowed to play in it too soon after meals or in the evening as I sit in it and bounce up and down and it plays a tune if I bounce well, but Mummy keeps having to wipe the toys on it when I make myself sick from bouncing too much! After I've played with/in it I don't want to go to sleep in case I miss any other excitement.

Thanks for letting me join your party, but I probably ought to go to bed soon. Tell Mummy not to drink too much as it makes my poo go a funny colour.

*they've put new words to standard tunes (eg row row row your boat) to fit the story, and it's taken me ages to learn how to fit them in.
Oh, and that Jumperoo is really good, keeps him quiet for ages (even with the tunes), but does make him a bit hyper!

and sorry about the poo comment, but it is another reason for not drinking that Ale!

Hi there all! Count me in too.... I was out earlier in the day enjoying a glorious day of sunshine here in glorious Devon, so am only just catching up on things. But it's not too late to offer something in for a virtual party - and I had some good Devon cider while I was out. Hang on though - I guess we'd better keep the music turned down so that it doesn't wake baby Thomas......

Me too. Only I was distracted by a can of cider. And stephen fry, bizarrely enough. A repeat of the first episode of kingdom, followed by a QI repeat. But I'll try and remember to show up tonight for the second installment of the party!
