Guess where?

I'm just updating you all on responses. It's looking very promising for the Saturday (could be up to 12 of us now!! :D :D )

Oh, and I'm going to try to keep reminding people ('cos I know you're a right dopey lot!! ). LAT's got some really good sounding ideas - we'll have to have a bit of a conflab with Scurra too and then we'll post some suggestions when we're a bit clearer on the possiblities.

I'm sort of thinking something a bit more action packed on the Saturday, and then for those who are around on the Sunday maybe something a bit more gentle!! (Well, I'll certainly be half dead by then so it might need to incorporate some sitting / lying down...  )

..mind you, rather alarmingly, 4 of those are men who know stuff about computers. So we might have to split them up and ban all discussions about megapixies and RAMs*. 8-)

*Although Scurra will find it hard to resist discussing the latter...

I can come on Friday and return on Sunday - need to decide which train to return on and book my cheap advance tickets asap now. Am I right in assuming that something might be happening on Sunday morning so that it is worth deferring return until after lunch?

It's looking more likely that if we're doing anything on a day other than Saturday, more people seem to be free on the Sunday than the Friday. As I recall, several people are travelling during the day on Friday. (Have I got that right??)

Think so. I am not free on the Friday until too late to make it worthwhile going up to town but I could meet up again on the Sunday if people are around and we haven't all had enough of each other on the Saturday. :)

I can still get a cheap ticket on a train back from Paddington at around 3pm, so that would give a reasonable time to be around on Sunday - depends where we are actually going to be??
Looking forward to putting a few faces to names at long last :D

Well, just don't build mine up with too much expectation, will you?? It's sure to be a massive disappointment... I suppose if people are staying in London itself it'd be best to meet up somewhere in the travelcard zone?

  I was meaning where we could visit. But if you can find enough to do in Euston station for a day, then go for it!! Having said that, I spent ages with Janet in Kings Cross a little while back! :

Seriously though, Euston is a great place for me to meet anyone (being selfish) because that's at the end of my main line. And if I'm in charge of getting myself anywhere else I would probably end up in LLandudno.
