I'm figuring Saturday as my main day - there's a possibility I might be able to meet up with a different set of friends on Sunday afternoon, but I'm up for a morning get-together if it is happening.

No, you silly girl, that's me... Computer wizard ;)
Bunnylump wrote: ..mind you, rather alarmingly, 4 of those are men who know stuff about computers. So we might have to split them up and ban all discussions about megapixies and RAMs*. 8-)

I was one of the ones you were thinking of here - Saturday is certainly the PuzzleBrains day in that respect.

Likewise :)
Bunnylump wrote:Well, just don't build mine up with too much expectation, will you?? It's sure to be a massive disappointment...
Ignore this Purple character - she's lovely [with an annoying habit of putting herself down]

All being well, I will be there, I won't set up any impromptu computer lessons, I will enjoy seeing you all, and I might bring my walking stick

:o WALKING STICK?? Is that to whack anyone who's too naughty? (Or who doesn't join the crocodile when we cross roads??) Or are you just OLD like me?

 Oh yeah. You're younger than me, aren't you (slightly)?

I've got a dodgy knee at the moment. So I'm expecting the full sedan chair treatment. Hope that's ok with you all...

If looking for locations near to Euston - the British Library might offer some interesting possibilities for a treasure hunt ......and might have a general appeal to Puzzlebrainers in any case?

Well, if you're offering to write a treasure hunt?............... :D

Are you sure we wouldn't be too noisy though?

No. it wasn't an offer - just an idea! It would need a bit of local research, but might be possible.

well, I wasn't thinking of the library proper (which is only open to official members) - just the exhibition areas, which are fascinating and open to anyone to walk round and make comments on the exhibits.
But yes, I suppose you are right - if we made it too exciting, would people get carried away with the competitive spirit and cause a riot? I don't know - I've not yet seen a PB meet in action :o :o

I was well behaved and quiet when I met you in London with Redfraggle. And I was well behaved and quiet when I met you in Burnham Beeches too. I would have thought that would suggest a pattern... :D

Yes, but some of us saw you in Burton-on-the-Wherever-it-was as counter-evidence. :D

I was on BEST BEHAVIOUR!!!! You just don't appreciate the effort I made to be demure. 8-) I EVEN refrained from climbing into the River Windrush ( which I was SORELY tempted to do).

Yeah, but remember that I saw you dancing skyclad round the Rollright Stones. Didn't I?

Who thinks it's a pity Bunnylump wasn't in the maize maze at Gill's? For some reason I'm thinking "Well Behaved" and "Quite" would NOT come into the descriptions.

How's the treatment coming on for that experience, Scurra? It must have been quite traumatic for you...

And if anyone's wondering what it looked like, check out the avatar...

OK I'm just letting you know that we haven't forgotten all about this. LAT's currently looking into a sort of self guided walk encompassing points of interest. And she's also (maybe) got a bit of a quiz going on. I'm just being generally useless - because I don't know London. But when we've narrowed it down a bit we'll let you know. LAT's also thinking of a contingency plan in case of dire weather.

Still keep that 7th August free!! :D

Its also looking possible for a Friday teatime/night meet up ( Dont quote me on that beause I have to check with my hostess :D ) Sort of around 7-8pm in general if its feasible?
