Enlightened one, I am still struggling to understand the way our esteemed and beloved Buddha's mind works and would like to make another enquiry.

Having just been attempting to improve my mind with the study of art in the Puzzletown gallery I would love to know which artists the Buddha prefers. Is the work of Canaletto considered superior to that of Constable? And that of Caravaggio more beautiful than that of della Francesca?

The Buddha definitely likes Caravaggio, but he's not so keen on Canaletto, Constable or della Francesca...

However, you have earned another right to a guess. Just as a reminder, people who have the right to guess may do so at any time. If they are wrong, then the Master will post a pair of words that are valid but disprove the guess.

Uh.. well I had x3 on the last page, too! :D
(not that it matters, I'm not in a position to make any predictions as to the nature of the Buddha words anyway!)

I must admit that I am fnding the way very confusing too. I wonder whether the Buddha would call it a rather foggy path, though perhaps not misty?

Master, still confused as I am, I shall enquire whether the Buddha is fond of games such as scrabble or that he believes it is played only by the rabble?

Is student LAT really so unsure about the way? For it is true that the path is foggy but not misty.
But student SparkOut still seems confused; the Buddha dislikes both scrabble and the rabble...

Absolutely so, Master. If the Buddha dislikes scrabble, then would he prefer to do gardening and be a grubber in the vegetable patch, rather than play a rubberof bridge? Or perhaps it is that he would he fear a drubbing and rather take a brass rubbing?

While it is true that the Buddha would prefer being a grubber to a rubber, he would like both a drubbing and a rubbing.
I feel that student SparkOut, for all his protestations, may be near enlightenment?

Esteemed master, as a total novice, should I seek enlightenment by reading and walking to commune with nature or would it be better to sit at home watching TV

Student kathlyn, you are indeed correct to deduce that the Buddha would prefer a gaggle of geese to a school of whales.

Student Looby, however, seems to be lost - the Buddha does not like reading, walking, or watching, or even to commune with the mysteries of the world.

Do my students really still find themselves baffled? Surely one of them is willing to step out into the abyss?

This student certainly is not confident of making such a leap, Master.
I do wonder though, would the Buddha like to kiss a miss rather than a lass or one of the gals?

Master, I'm assuming then that the Buddha would goggle at Google in preference to submitting his enquiry to Live Search?

Master I thought you had lost me entirely on this one, now I realise I was mistaken. I wasn't completely lost until you revised your list, now I'm speechless with despair :o

In the truest spirit of community, peace and love, could I humbly request that I may snuggle up with the giraffe and rag doll in the pit of despair and confusion?

..warm in here, isn't it?

Perhaps as I climb in, I could just casually toss an old Lloyds bank card and an Abbey cheque book in the direction of the Master's mounting heap of discarded suggestions? (Maybe we could make them into a pyre later)?
