What is your team name?

For those who know him, Ben is on a Leeds University team "Masterminds", currently 22nd. Surely you can beat him!!

team name is www.puzzlebrains.com - nothing like a bit of advertising :D

And it looks like Ben is beating us at the moment. I'd like to think that is because I can't get on the site to contribute at the moment, but I know that isn't true! ;)

They've only solved one more than us though! And we're actually ahead of ynysafari, which is SparkOut's team
(Interestingly, it seems to be the same five or so puzzles that most teams have solved.)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

And I tried again on Google docs but after waiting about 15 minutes for one document to open I gave up!

Supersleuth - good to see you here! :D
Tell Ben that he should be doing WAY better than us old fogies!!   (Well, with the possible exception of Vlad, who is a whippersnapper). (Note, I say "us" very loosely. I haven't had anything much to do with it, as usual.

And they have had 29 guesses

He isn't officially registered on the team as he was away in France (with Naomi's replacement!) when they registered, but is well into it with the rest of them.

Good luck ;)

I'm just heading off to see what people have been up to now, LAT. Do you want me to post the salient points?

I think the update is that there is no update...lots of drawing silly pictures and wild speculation, but not a lot else. Well, apart from me swearing at Scurra in French...

Well I just tried for about the fifth time today and got into the documents. I am wondering I couldn't get in earlier because there were two many people already there posting stuff?

Looks like I missed all the fun! :(

I do think that posting salient points would be a good idea, especially for those who are having difficulty accessing the Google Docs. If these included comments on where help might be needed then I could maybe spend some time usefully instead of working on a puzzle only to find someone else was one step ahead of me the whole time!

Mind you, after looking at today's puzzles I'm not sure I'm going to be any help at all with them.

I'm with you LAT. I opened today's puzzles, looked at them, and then promptly closed them again :D

Maisie is posting updates - unless someone has already beaten her to it then she won't bother unless there is something to add. Thanks all who are doing this.

I'm not too keen on todays puzzles either.

I haven't got a camera with me otherwise I'd get someone to take a photo so we we could get the points for puzzle 1. Can someone else do it?
