I don't know about later in August (as we still haven't booked our holiday) but I know I definitely can't do the weekend nearest the 1st. It's my best friend's 50th birthday.

We are away the middle of August, but don't work around me as at the moment the hole isn't big enough to bury someone :x :x
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

I'd love to do one at some time but I am comited to a holiday in folkestone a 40th wedding and a 90th birthday and visiting my 95 year old aunt. I would love to arrange something in Scotland but I dont have the room to put people up But we are close to Loch lomond - there are caravan parks and a travellodge and a premier inn

Bunnylump: There's a weekend 6th 7th August and one 13th 14th. So you're not available 6th 7th? or did you mean 31st July, (which is the weekend closest.)

Don't know what just happened as thought I had posted a post!

Been keeping quiet as planned time in the UK limited - but will be there for 6th/7th august weekend. Other weekends I will have to sort out to get back to UK.

Saying that (and following on from Tricias comment) do we find a location that has say a premier inn - pref one that meets Lenny henrys £29 deal!!! That works travel wise for bods wanting to meet? Once date and location sorted I'm sure we can sort the entertainment.

I'd be happy to do some research re locations /costs for premier inn type locations if bods could let me know dates/possible locations by say this Sat. No promises - and will let others sort out the entertainment if this works!!!!

I'm sorry to be so useless but I definitely can't pin myself down to dates this week. OH is working away, so I won't be booking my holiday this week. But go ahead and sort something, if I can possibly fit round it I will. If I can't, I will just have to lump it.

You mean the Tricia who has "CLYDEBANK SCOTLAND" as her location?

I know what I mean :P I've worked in Vauxhall area, and seen city centre, but I get the feeling there are lots of other 'bits' there that I know nothing about.

Would still like to be counted in, but am committed the first two weekends in August, which seem to be the favourites so far

I wondered whether we could all go down to Kent and see Allo Allo when that is on. :D

I have a lot of imponderables at the moment so have no idea at all if/when I would be able to come. Which is why I am not making any comments about availability.

End of October? Is that half term week? Might be in Sussex, so not out of the question.
