Just to chip in my bit then I'm happy to go to Kent, happy to have an October meet or a meet at any time that is best for everyone. As we have schoolies (both young and a considerable bit younger  ) then school holidays, be they summer orhalf term is almost a must. Because that means travel becomes more expensive then the sooner we have a plan the better.

Dates for Allo Allo are:

13/14/15 October and 20/21/22 October (Thursday/Friday/Saturday of two consecutive weeks)

If you need me to find out details about accommodation in the area, let me know - or info on any places you might want to visit.

I don't know what you lot get up to on these weekends  I obviously won't be around on Friday or Saturday evening, but I'm free to meet up during the day.

The 22nd is the Saturday at the beginning of half term I believe.

There is a thread somewhere from the previous meets.

Dramaticat, are you SURE you want to have a load of weirdos (myself included) turning up at your play??

Well I've only managed to get to one and a half of them, and both the bits I was at were during the daytime before the alcohol had started to flow. It was nice to meet everyone and I can vouch for the fact that they are good fun. Having said that, I believe MBH and Redfraggle had a close encounter on space hoppers at one I didn't go to, and MBH doesn't drink!!

So true - we ARE nice people and yes it's true - MBH and I had a close encounter with a space hopper. Actually I sort of bounced on him because I slid off the space hopper and neither MBH nor I were drinking. It was absolutely hilarious - one of those most memorable moments in my life.

That really must be MBH's greatest claim to fame. Not many people get to knock a fraggle off a spacehopper.

And poor Ivan must have it really badly...

I had to be really careful with my children's names. Lots of names ended up sounding like diseases with my surname.

Well, yes. But at least when you say your name people don't go "huh?" Altogether too many Ls.

No, they just come up with really original amusing comments that I've only heard 43000000 times before. And then they spell it wrong. (Quite why I have never fathomed, since there is only one way to spell it, but most people can't cope with all those Ts )

If you'd met my theatre friends, you wouldn't even think of asking that question

Reminds me of the Christmas social a couple of years ago - the grand spacehopper race challenge. Unfortunately I can't find a link to the video, but my good friend - who's a policeman dealing with important anti-terrorist type stuff, who's fit enough to have entered several Iron Man races and has done the Marathon des Sables across the Sahara desert - couldn't stay in control of his spacehopper!

Well as you all can tell from my log in, which I might add is the one given to me at work I am a disease.

My colleague last week not thinking before she yell out "This person who has locked the spread sheet sounds like a disease STREP" It all went very quiet when I said "OK I've finished with it now" few red faces in the office.

Please may I come - I know I've been very bad lately and haven't visited the site at all for about a month, but I still want to be involved. I'd also like my life back if anyone has advice on how to reclaim it from children!

I'm happy to go anywhere and any time except weekend of Sept 24/25.
There's no point in having a last minute if you don't use it!
