It's a bar and a half of Cadbury dairy milk! (Special offer so was cheaper than the supermarket's own, and you can't beat CDM  )

It'll have to be eaten because it's 2 feet long and getting in the way. I have to keep moving it because the kitchen table is in the sun.

Being annoyed at my son. He announced at 7pm "Oh yeah, my friend had tickets for Seasick Steve you could have had. But I forgot."

I think ive broken my toe. I was messing around with Ivan (I play rough) and I kicked him on the backside and heard a snap. My big toe is purple and swollen. Was going to go to casualty but the riots are on so will probably go tomorrow. Ivan says the hospital will think Ive been rioting.

Ouch!

I have to tell you that unless it's horrific they probably won't do anything with a toe. I broke mine by dropping a jar of marmite on it from the top cupboard in the kitchen. I was told to go home, take paracetamol and reorganise my cupboard  .

Wasn't going to tell you this but I will now

I think I broke my toe the morning of your wedding. That would be the bit where I was tottering on the strappy sandals that are no good for walking, feeling like a hooker from the night before etc because I was dressed in the wedding clothes, no make up and hair like a blackberry bush, leaving a B&B just as the rush hour traffic is passing by  .

I fell off the kerb. I still can't wear anything but flip flops. Having broken a finger years ago there is absolutely nothing you can do but strap the toe or finger to the next one and get on with it. My "broken" toe is lying at an angle so its tucking under my big toe. Its not painful anymore but its definitely uncomfortable!

Are you sure you shouldn't get it checked out if it's at an angle Gill?

I've only broken my nose (so far anyway). Though I did wonder once if my little toe was broken after someone kicked me quite hard in a swimming pool.
