I have just checked up on a parcel I'm waiting for. It says it is at the SORTATION FACILITY. Surely that isn't a word?

I don't go out for months on end sometimes!! It has all been a bit hectic just recently though. Anyway, I hope you're impressed how early I came home. Can't hack it any more, too old and too ill...I'm having a really good go at finishing myself off!!

And SORTATION FACILITY??? Snort.

I doubt you'd find Sortation facility in any dictionary. I have a couple of parcels due from Amazon still stuck somewhere on route with couriers called Yodel. There has been no update on their tracking for a week now. :(

We are going to New York! :D I had a lot of points.

I was sorely tempted tonight to sit on Pete's knee (he's the bloke who's leaving). He looks more like Father Christmas than Father Christmas. Seriously, white hair, white beard, slightly cuddly and lovely blue twinkly eyes. But I thought I'd better not break Father Christmas' knees right now. He has rather an important job to do before he leaves for France... I do have serious suspicions about his real identity. His wife is small and Irish and a bit elf like...

So I'll ask him tomorrow if he has a sortation facility and see what he says...

I'm quite excited as I've never been to America. (OH isn't keen on long flights, no doubt why he got a job in Hong Kong many years ago when average flight time there was about 18 hours  )

If it wasn't for the flying factor I'd love to go there.

Ditto. I've decided that I'm just going to have to wait for them to perfect the teleporter.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

How about a nice Ocean liner? That could be a very civilised way to travel. :D

But...but...but that means that Scurra and I won't be able to come. Because we're big scaredy cats. Never mind Scurra, we'll have a party here on our own. Pah, New York New Shmork...who needs it when you can visit Hemel Hempstead??

I hate flying, but love America. The first time I went I had nightmares for months afterwards that I was still over there and couldn't face the flight back! I'm trying to persuade OH that we should go to California with the children, we went before we were married and I'd love to go back.

I'd rather fly than boat. (Why does the seasick smiley look so happy)

Boats are just about as bad as planes for me. I'm just hopeless with travelling. I can do cars. Or walking. So if someone would kindly build a bridge, I'll be there.

Also - I am a wimp when it comes to flying........ despite doing it all the time..... key for me is always having an aisle seat (no looking out of the window!!!)...... having music in my ears (completely distracting me from what is going around me)..... today - having some puzzles to completely distract me (you see there is another benefit from being a puzzlerbrainer!!) ... (plane being fairly bounced about today getting back to UK - wont even comment on the temperature!!!) .... and when all else fails - shutting my b******* eyes and thinking I'm somewhere else (hot climes, lovely beach).......
