I think I might enjoy working for you. But would we get anything done?

I must be mad, I worked overtime tonight. I'm running out of days to take the extra time off and final salary instructions have probably already gone to the bank so I won't get paid for my time either. :(

Thing is, you are mad. But you are like me, and like to get things finished, and done well. You know it would annoy you if you didn't tie up loose ends don't you? ;)

Missed this yesterday. They are priceless, aren't they? Today we had the hairdresser round. Every time one of us got off the "hotseat", the cat jumped up on to it. I think she wanted a hair cut... Also, I came down this morning to find the angel on the top of the tree looking like she was about to bungy jump off the top. I suspect the cat had a hand in that as well...

Packing up 2 offices and two teaching rooms. My boss was in a flap hoping for the best that all our furniture all fitted in the new rooms. So I did a quick survey, planned them out, drew her the furniture to scale, and then let her play. Simples. (So all that RICS training wasn't wasted, after all...!!)

Me too. I just want it to stop. :( I am shattered beyond all reason. But the good news is that I now have a new bathroom radiator and shower. Rest of the house looks like a bomb has hit it.

That does sound very unfair. And after all you've been going through to try to get it sorted. :(

I broke one of the knobs on my gas hob today. It came apart in my hands when I was trying to turn it up a bit. :(
I had to get the plyers out to turn the gas off when supper was cooked.

Then I found a spare parts service online this evening so I just sent off an enquiry. I had to word it very carefully to make sure it didn't sound as though I was asking about biscuits.

The knobs on my cooker came apart just before it was a year old. Two split at the same time. When I demanded replacements under guarantee they insisted on sending someone round to look at it - and when he came he accused me of using unnecessary force to turn them on! I was so angry that he was sent away with a flea in his ear - and they duly replaced the knobs....
