I thought my camera didn't have a separate card for a couple of years and then someone took the battery out and showed it to me. My previous one had it in a really obvious place!

My magazine has arrived too! (at the same time as other people - Yorkshire posties obviously on top form today!)

Today, I've been running a coffee morning to raise money for the Brownie Pack Holiday. It was really busy, and made lots of money, but it was one of those situations where it would have been less stressful without my little Brownie helpers. However, they've all got their hostess badges now, and all know how to make me a cuppa when we do go away at the end of March.

Think I need to know what was on this envelope... Mind you, we got a Christmas card addressed to Mr and Mrs McSpreading this year - an old colleague from when I was about 20 who had a complete brainfreeze and couldn't remember our surname - but she knew D was a Scot...

I quietly had a bet inside my head that you'd be the first to ask

I adressed it to "The Stunning Redhead"

PS. You'd be amazed how much notice the posties seem to take. I often send messages to the postie on Katsmoms envelopes when she has problems. It's worked every time so far :D

Strep's postie obviously paid attention too!

Aw, Tricia, that's annoying. Thing is, anyone who knows you won't be worrying about your hair - there's such a lovely person underneath it that they won't notice. ;) I'm sure you are noticing it far more than anyone else is.

Well neither do I - but there is a reason for that.

Today I've mostly been in New York. Well actually today I've mostly been having breakfast so far but we're about to go out to do Top of the Rock, Museum of Modern Art and Empire State building.
Did loads yesterday too. And I have the blister on my little toe to prove it. :(
But weather is great. Cold but dry and mostly bright.
I'll write more when I'm back again.

I may say that shortly after this, he fell off the sled, face first into the snow and that sort of put him off!
