Mine can arrive now, the cakes are done. My cakes are so simple (no black treacle or syrup, just a jar of mincemeat), cooked in 1.5 hours and has fruit soaked in brandy and then they are fed with more brandy every fortnight till christmas and then covered with marzipan and chocolate (everyone hates icing here)

I used to make christmas pudding and all my own mincemeat, but nobody likes it these days so I don't bother.

Been a quiet halloween with no visitors thank goodness (not even the postie).

Not happy with the Stictly result so I'm off to kick something.
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

Really? I think there's at least one puzzle in there you haven't done
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Well, there's one I WOULDN'T do. But then you know which one that is...(Killer Sudoku AKA death by maths). Although I fully appreciate that lots of mad people love them. But then I like battleships and colouring in so who am I to judge?

Par for the course, I got the passwords AFTER I left work

Not that I would get anywhere with it anytime soon though.

Lucky ladies!

My password hasn't let me in yet :(

I've done the 'playing with numbers' bit of 1865 and I'm hoping there might be a clue to tell me how to progress

Well, if you will insist on living on a pile of chicken poo, you can hardly blame the postie for leaving you till last!! :D

Well as Katsmom got hers this morning -and she's 8 hours ahead of us -that makes her the winner!

Amazing, interesting that none of the mags were posted in Leeds this time.
