... just back from another evening working bar at the Cricket Club. Fairly quiet (just the darts match on), with two of us working behind the bar.

I'm off to read a chapter or two of a Harry Potter FanFic to 'wind down'. Since I seem to be rattling around in here all on my own :?

Some of us are up with the MIT Hunt, and decidedly not having a life.

And I'm not off having a life, unless watching repeats of old series of Ballykissangel counts!!!

Well, having had a more than averagely rubbish day, at least I got home to find another £25 win on Premium Bonds. :D Aren't I a lucky bunny?

And you didn't get a £25 premium bond on your doorstep when you got back to make you feel better? That's just not on.

having a rant at Asda - Today is Burns night - it is traditional to have Haggis mashed swede and potatoes. Asda has no haggis - no Turnip and when asked why - they said we did not order enough - you can get it during the week. My argument was that it is traditional to have on the 25 January - so they should have had sufficient ordered - it is not as though it is a one off evet - its an annual celebration!!!!!!!!

That happens every year here too. So I'm off out for a curry to celebrate Burn's night instead (and I'm not taking my Scottish husband with me either. He can stay here and eat...

...oh dear, nothing. I forgot to go shopping. )
