Well I thought they were quite good ones of you. At least you don't look like someone else's Grandma!

Home safe and had my tea waiting for me!! :o
Many, many thanks to all those who made this a really fun weekend, especially Gill, who did a fantastic job of organising caravans, getting in the shopping, making lovely yummy food (including, amongst other things, yummy roast chicken and fresh home made scones) and putting up with us all. Gill, you were an absolute star. And I have now intrigued K with a mysterious message about her present. :D

Thank you to David for organising all the puzzles, even if I didn't actually do them  and to MBH for a brilliant session on the computer. I think I learned more in that short space of time than I would have believed possible. He is a wonderful teacher and could actually do with a full week to set me straight!! Thanks so much to my wonderful chaufeusse and masseuse, Looby. :D

I actually managed to drag poor LAT out once in a hail storm and once with MBH in the rain (I really appreciated that, being a big fidget - this probably stopped me being even more manic than I already was!! :D ) MBH managed to fit in a pretty precarious looking boulder scramble and LAT and I did some strategic hiding in bus stops and wave dodging.

It was lovely to catch up with everyone again, and to meet that tin dog at long last. :D :D

Many thanks to Looby for getting me here on time.

Gill - a huge big THANK YOU for all you have done to organise the weekend - and making sure we were fed and watered. Hopefully youi can now have a relaxing evening.

Scurra - thanks for organising the puzzles - and help to solve the puzzles!!!!

Last post disappeared. I think you all understand now my disappearing posts, phone calls but your phone doesn't ring but you have a missed call that arrives long after the event and messages that arrive long after the hail stones have gone away

Supersleuth has arrived safely in Leeds.

I want to rename this thread as the Sock Meet thread :D

It certainly will be remembered as the weekend of the dodgy footwear. Looby, I think the new trend Scurra started deserves some more public recognition, don't you??

I've got a better idea. We need some lessons on how to edit photo's, make ourselves look, younger, fatter, thinner or whatever and just sod the diet

Don't think there's software on this planet that could deal with my surpluses. Anyway Gill, I thought you looked great and not at all like a grandma. Giraffe's camera is obviously faulty, because I'm quite sure I am actually a size 10.

BTW, hope your caravan has survived the experience!!

I can FEEL Looby downloading the hundreds of photos she very sneakily took as she's here and saying nothing. Sussed you Looby :D

 See!! I knew it all along. I'm honestly hoping that the original was just rather unfortunate because of the smock style t shirt hanging down. Well, that's what I'm telling myself anyway. Although I suspect that there are some far more dodgy ones than that.

Will / may put some photos up but not tonight.
Have loads of reading to do before Wednesday and about 50 emails and 4 phone messages to answer tonight
There's no point in having a last minute if you don't use it!
