 How poo. You should have come here and looked at my pc! (Having said that I've been doing all sorts of other things today so that wouldn't have helped.)

Tonight, I'm having an OAP night (no offence meant if any of you are OAPs). I shall have a nice bath, then watch gardeners world, while drinking tea and cross-stitching. Life doesn't get more exciting than that, now does it? 8-)

I've been for a 9 mile walk. I'm so unfit these days because I spend all my time sitting in front of the computer it nearly finished me off! Still, it was a nice walk and there were lots of pretty spring flowers out. Found the most amazing field on Boxmoor trust land which was completely covered in cowslips. It was absolutely amazing. :D Also saw a Little Egret.

So I think I'm totally justified in sitting in a big heap and watching tv all evening!!

I'm sorry, Bunny, but if you can do a 9 mile walk, whether or not it nearly finished you off, you can't be that unfit! Don't think I could walk half that distance... (although the scenery certainly sounds as if it would inspire)

Well, Gardeners World is just getting going - so that's several of us settling down for the evening..... though whether that extends to Monty Don in Italian gardens remains to be seen...

I think I've walked further this week than in the previous 12 months. Must try and keep it up when I get home.

Watching a spider crawl around my monitor. I hate those things so I've just been keeping an eye on it.

today I have been mostly invisible - people walking in to me at the supermarket. Went out for lunch at a local pub - which was very nice. Then spent the afternoon crying my way through the DVD of the deathly Hallows part 1.

Did not fo to the cinema because I knew I would be in tears. Crying and my complexion is not a pleasant site.

I'm a hopeless case in cinemas too.

And what is it with people in the supermarket? I had just the same thing yesterday. A couple of times I felt like saying something, but didn't fancy a punch up.

I went in the car today for a little jolly and we ended up travelling through 5 counties in Northern Ireland and at one point we ended up in Ireland! It was so lovely and relaxing. :D

That sounds SO MUCH like an introduction sentence to one of Scurra's puzzle  His style is obviuosly catching. [You keep trying to trace a path to include 5 counties and keep failing until you finally spot a little village call 'Kent' --- or something like that  ]

Last night I was behind the bar for the end of season award giving for the Hockey Club - they use the cricket club's rooms at times. What a great bunch of women out for a great time. Totally different atmosphere to a similar sized bunch of men.

The was a band on - The Zoo [yes, I got a puzzle flashback] - and a buffet which the mob got to before I had time to get out from behind the bar :(

A very enjoyable night out, but I feel knackered this morning - 5.5 hours non-stop running about serving drinks, and a bit of a dance to the band.

Hope that you experienced the whole "relaxing with red wine, French Bread and Brie" experience you were looking forward to, Kathlyn! :D

I've bin
going round to my friend Brian's house to get him to sort out my laptop. Stupid McAfee came up with a thing saying "a website is trying to access your computer, do you want to block it?" So I did. Then I tried to log back on to Google Chrome. Turns out that's what I've blocked!!! Hey ho. Still, sorted now.
