Technical help please

Can someone tell me how to resize a pic? I cannot remember how to do it.

I could do with being reminded of that too.

I don't have the complex software other people have so I open it up in Microsoft Paint:

START-->All Programmes-->Accessories-->Paint

On the command line at the top ("File", "Edit", "View", "Images") you select "Images", and move down to the "Stretch / Scew" offer.

Change the Horizontal and Vertical figueres (for STRETCH only, not Scew) to the same percentage figure. Over 100 and the picture gets bigger, under 100 it gets smaller. 50 in each option should make it half (50%) as wide and half as high therefor one-quarter the original size.
