Titles
Who's been putting titles to some of the members? I see that Bunnylump is "Garrulous lagomorph" and gill216 is "She Who Must Be Obeyed".
Is this ability to give someone a title a special power, or are members able to dub themselves whatever they like?

Re: Eh?
It makes me laugh every time I look at one of your posts now, with that dancing wolf at the bottom!
I see what you mean. Blooming cheek! I could think of some choice descriptions for that damned Jester...I'll have to learn how to hack into the administrator's computer!

Re: Eh?
Yes, only admins can give out titles (I have to have some perks, you know
)
On another forum I frequent there is the rather excellent idea of inviting people to request Custom Titles - but you can't request one for yourself; it has to be for someone else.
So, if you have any bright ideas, try suggesting them and see what happens...

I think it's time you cleared your kitchen cupboards out, Looby!

Well, I've been snooping into your cobwebs and crumby corners when you least expect it...
No - I meant that you know what a hairy raisin looks like!!

And methinks a Laura got confused with a LoobY. Or maybe this post should go on Zendo thread

Re: Eh?
Oh lordy. Sorry about that. I didn't look past the L and the 5 letters. Basically, I am now convinced that anyone who has a 5 letter long name that begins with L has a hairy raisin infestation. So, Laura, Looby, LAT - get scrubbing!! (And while you're on, you could have a go at mine too, please. I expect I've got worse than that in my cupboards!

Re: Eh?
I have to thank Kingsley for finding it! And notice that there's now a '<' next to it, which is the nearest I could get to the rune for 'Cen' or 'Ken'*. It's a rebus of my login name.Bunnylump wrote:It makes me laugh every time I look at one of your posts now, with that dancing wolf at the bottom!
*Ken/Cen: Runic letter meaning 'knowledge' and representing the sound of 'K'.

Re: Eh?
Ah, now there was me thinking it was a boomerang.
I'm a bit miffed that it appears to be only Gill and I that have an extra name. I think it's about time we had some more additions. For a start, we have a psychopathic ragdoll and a hirsute lupine raisin...not to mention old stick boy himself!

Re: Eh?
Stickboy? How about Cricketing Chimp?
I've seen a picture of one on a birthday card - it reminds me of when he was supposed to be an undersized W. G. Grace at that LARP in Nottinghamshire.

Re: Eh?
Right Bunny, I request a name for Redfraggle. "Clattergob"- although she's been quiet of late.
For Zoe. Twiga. It's Swahili for giraffe and she loved it. She said its the first time she's been compared to Twiggy.
Gill

Re: Eh?
Love them!!
another name for the Fraggle would be "The Flushing Bride" -with reference to the category most of her jokes come under -"toilet humour". The best kind!

I was seriously tempted to put "Ken Raisin" on Cenwulf's...

Re: Eh?
My title suggestion for MBH - 'King of the Swingers'.
After all, he suggested it in the Other Place.
Edit: I think this idea should be moved to another part of the Forum, as it's not really a query any more!
