The summit of Ben Nevis IS sometimes visible, 340 days of the year it's not, but today, we had this view...
and yes in late October you can still get the boat tour (from which we took the Ben Nevis photo) and dinner at the Crannog, which is visible from Pumpkin's window...

Apart from driving into a ditch (the night we were heading up here) avoiding a deer jumping across in front of her, smashing the front of her car in, probable write-off, yes - pretty much, it's lovely up here.

She's fine, and we weren't involved, except in terms of helping with the aftermath and taking her to meet the recovery vehicle, etc.
